About Your Host: Samantha Salisbury is an Events Manager based in Cambridge specialising in academic conferences and corporate events. She runs a Facebook Group – “Get Ahead in Events” full of free tips and tricks to help ambitious individuals looking to get their first events management role or further their current career in events management.  Due to COVID-19, all of Samantha’s events have been postponed so she has changed her focus to helping event professionals by running virtual events to give them practical actions they can take and growing her FB group.  She also offers Events Career Strategy Sessions on a 121 basis and regularly speaks on topics such as elevating your events career and raising your profile in the events industry.
